Folk Festival at the Ethnographic Museum, Prague

I was recently in the Czech Republic for ten days and one of the highlights of the trip was spending an afternoon at the Ethnographic Museum in Prague when their annual festival of folk music and dance was taking place.  The event spread over the whole weekend of 16 and 17 May. I hope my photos will convey some of the vibrancy and joyousness of it all.  I wish I could have captured the sound too – such wonderful singing and playing, especially of folk instruments such as the cimbalom and bagpipes.
