Happy Birthday to me – Russian-style

It was my birthday on Thursday and my friend Viktoria sent me a link to this clip from the Soviet-era animation series ‘Cheburashka’. Apparently this is a famous birthday song in Russia. I love it! And I am pleased with myself that I understand quite a lot of the Russian lyrics, notably this bit –
