A friend has drawn my attention to this Russian folk rock band, formed in 2003. I love their music and, even more, hearing it in their joyful videos alongside views of the Russian countryside and the cityscape and canals of St Petersburg.
I bought one of their CDs. This is their latest, released in 2018, but I probably chose it largely because of the cover image, as it recreates one of my favourite Prokudin-Gorskii photographs.
